Wheels and lowering

I've been looking at wheels for the camper recently and thought it might be usefull for some of you guys if I listed the information that I've gained. Most of this information is untested so if it is incorrect then don't blame me (but please tell me!).

Other car wheels that fit a bay

Hondahave a bolt pattern that is very nearly the same, so the holes can just be drilled out a mm or two
Mercedes Fit if you have a small stud bay- later type (may need to check the off set and bolt lengths).
Vauxhalls have a bolt pattern that is very nearly the same, so the holes can just be drilled out a mm or two.

Matching wheels from link below (5 x 112 35...40 57.0 or similar):

AUDI A4, A6, A8, V8, S2, S4, S6, 100(90>)
FORD Granada scorpio
Mercedes EXCEPT SL, A Class, Vito, Sprinter
SEAT Alhambra
VW Caravelle, Passat (96>), Sharan

Tyres and rim sizes

On a 15" wheel use a tyre with a 65 profile to keep the radius correct

Lowering

Unless you want ground clearance problems then keep the Lowering on a Bay to 5".
